In diesem Kurs dreht sich alles um den Einstieg ins Thema Interkulturelle Handlungskompetenz. Aufbauend auf unterhaltsamen und kurzweiligen animierten Videoclips wird ein Grundverständnis für die Thematik vermittelt. Einfache Modelle wie das von Kultur als Eisberg werden eingeführt und anhand von praktischen Beispielen wird lebensnah und nachvollziehbar eine Grundsensibilität für Interkultur geschaffen. Die Kraft und Gefahr von Stereotypen wird aufgezeigt.

This course is all about getting you started on the way towards intercultural competence. Simple modells like the „culture as an iceberg“ modell are introduced and immediately put to use with practical examples. By doing that we raise your awareness for intercultural communication and its importance. The use of videoclips ensures that you stay focused and entertained all the while still learning. With little tasks and hands on situations you can also apply what you have learned thus making sure you have sizeable knowledge transfer.
